Our Leadership

John is an Executive Financial Consultant with over 30 years of experience with IG, developing "living" financial plans for clients. John holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designations. John is a well respected business and community leader in Collingwood, having been recognized with the Order of Collingwood for his extensive volunteer efforts in the community.  These include The Rotary Club of Collingwood South Georgian Bay, The Collingwood Fire Department, and The Canadian Red Cross.

John, his wife Nancy, and their two children, Laura and Erin, live in Collingwood.

Andrea became an Associate Consultant with the Stransky team in 2019, joining IG after working for Deloitte LLP in Toronto. She graduated with an Honours BA from the Ivey Business School at Western University in 2018, specializing in finance, tax, and accounting. She is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals and implementing strategies to bring their IG Living Plan to life. Andrea is currently working towards her CFP® designation, and outside of work loves to golf, hike with her dog, and travel to new places with her family.

Rachael O’Connor is an Associate Consultant with the Stransky & Associates team, joining in 2024. She brings over a decade of experience in private capital markets, investment management, and wealth planning. With indepth knowledge of strategic planning and results-driven solutions, Rachael takes an analytical approach to deliver personalized, high-quality financial strategies for clients. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, and spending time with her dog.

Natalie is an Administrative Assistant with the Stransky & Associates team, joining the practice in 2024. With over a decade of experience in customer service, she keeps the team organized and specializes in administrative support. Originally from Nottawa, Natalie has 3 children and outside of work enjoys spending time with them and her husband, Ken.
